Training Methodology

Facilities

All our training can be delivered on site or at our state of the art training facilities on the Knowsley Industrial Estate.

Located within easy reach of the main motorway network. Our facilities are easily accessible and of the highest quality. In particular delegates will use the correct version of the application together with the operating system used in their workplace. This ensures that the training is relevant and all skills are retained.

Training Practice

Our training package ensures relevance and retention.

Relevance Our courses are modular and focused on a particular task. Each module lasts for approximately two hours. Modules can be taken individually or can be combined into a conventional training day. We can provide a full consultancy service, whereby we analyse delegates individual training needs, agree a training program, and then manage and implement that program.

Retention

We employ the latest technology to ensure retention of material. All training PCs are equipped with desktop recording software. This allows us to record delegate’s actions during exercises. They can then be replayed by the trainer for full and effective feedback.

A key to retention is practice. A unique feature of Blue Cube ICTTraining is our after course support package. First delegates are provided with a weeks work of practice exercises. These are completed and e-mailed to Blue Cube ICT for evaluation. They are returned with feedback to the delegate. This ensures retention. In addition each delegate is provided with 6 months of technical telephone support on the package trained. For an additional cost we can provide a half-day of “Floor Walking Support”. Following the training, a trainer can be made available at the client’s premises to provide support during the working day.

Courseware

All delegates are supplied with electronic courseware on CD Rom. This includes comprehensive course notes for the module covered, together with additional exercises. In addition each procedure is illustrated with a video file that shows a recording of the steps involved. This greatly improves the benefit of the courseware and helps to further ensure skill retention.

All our courses are modular in form. Each module lasts for approximately 2 hours and is focussed on a particular task. Modules can be taken individually or can be combined to form customised courses.

Clients can choose the modules required, or alternatively we can carry out a complete analysis of your training needs and create a training plan for each individual employee.

In addition we also run a series of standard public courses for Microsoft Office applications, at introductory, intermediate and advanced level. These are combinations of the most commonly used modules.
